Antifungal drugs that already exist have several side effects, so it needs to be developed a new drug from natural ingredients. Garlic and black garlic are known organosulfur compounds can used as an antifungal. This study aimed determine the effectiveness of (A. sativum) extract in inhibiting growth Candida albicans. 3 groups, namely control group, group by using concentration 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% with times replication. Extraction maceration method 96% ethanol solvent, while antifungal test disk diffusion method. effect is determined calculating inhibition zone formed on Sabouraud Dextrosa Agar (SDA) media after incubating for 24 hours. The results Kruskall-Wallis showed significance value (p <0.05) which means there were differences all groups. In Mann-Whitney >0.05) no significant between treatment conclusion, more effective compared but difference not significant.
